we need to talk. you have opened a can of worms, and it’s causing those around you a considerable amount of rage. i know you think you’re the shit, with your jargon and your fancy terms that you clearly had nothing to do with [really, stop taking credit for cloud gaming], but you need to quit it. tell your buddy microsoft that it can pay attention here too.
frankly, i don’t know how you expect this scheme to work, because clearly you expect this all to hinge on the stability of an internet connection, and also people’s willingness to just blindly hand over personal information regarding a service you claim they need. you’ve made me so hostile that i have resorted to using a run-on sentence for the first time in my entire life.
i LIKE having a physical copy of the game, ok? i love it, in fact. it has nothing to do with my love of smelling new plastic or my materialistic ways. it actually has everything to do with the fact that i can still play if my internet connection dies. let’s not even address the whole lagging issue i heard about.
having a physical copy of the game means i can play it whenever. it means i can play it and not have to worry about ‘server maintenance’ or ‘system outages’. it means i can play and not have to worry about what else i am pulling out of the ether, aside from game data.
your recent reports of lagging and general screwing up have done nothing to install my faith in you. please, for the love of everything holy, get your shit together before you start to peddle yourself out there.
love and kisses,
