i picked up prototype recently, at a sale circuit city was having. it was another one of those ‘new video game for $40’ situations. one copy left, at the end of a mega-shopping session with little_nerdx0. should i? i’d already spent a lot. on the other hand, i had the money – and it was a new game for $40. since that thinking had snagged me both assassin’s creed 2 and batman: arkham asylum, i quickly scooped it up. it was pretty much a no-contest situation. if you don’t have it, grab it at a place like eb games for both ps3 and xbox360.
it’s a great game, although the main character [alex mercer], is kind of a bigger dick than i expected. don’t get me wrong: it’s a fabulous game. mr. mercer just has a lot of issues though, and really gets off on taking them out on others. with games like infamous, you get a choice of being good or evil. it’s not that i don’t enjoy being evil – i just want that choice.
one bad thing about prototype is that the game is a bit glitchy, bringing me to the point of today’s post: a behind-the-scenes look at prototype. this video i found on youtube details some high points you will likely also come across.
