stop the presses! xbox live director larry hryb is a bit scared. or, he should be. known to some as major nelson, and director of programming for microsoft’s xbox live online gaming network to people in the real world, this man recently fell into the clutches of a hacker. kotaku goes into a criminal amount of detail, but the gist is that lightzz.com hacked his account recently for shits and giggles.
as kotaku goes on to say:
[this dumbass] has put up a YouTube video of his handiwork as well as his Skype name (Roid-Monkey) and is even offering to hack other players’ accounts for US$60. Whether or not that means the accounts of other Xbox LIVE users are vulnerable to a possible exploit in Xbox LIVE accounts remains to be seen.
anyway. just thought i would let you know because we all care so much.
