obsidian, likely sensing the feeding frenzy they have whipped everyone into lately, has announced a developer diary. well, not so much ‘announced’ as it was more ‘we just published it on our sites and people found it’. fallout: new vegas is going to be one of those things i lose hours of my life to, i know it. i had a similar feeling when a friend of mine organized an outing to see the first ‘sex and the city’ movie. not even full frontal male nudity held my attention after my ass literally went numb.
the latest fallout game though, is NOT going to be like that. feargus urquhart, president of obsidian entertainment, tells us this:
‘…we have a really great team working on Fallout: New Vegas, and what we really all realized from the very start of the project was that we had a tall order to live up to with what the internal team at Bethesda created with Fallout 3. So, we are going to take Fallout back across the United States to the west and bring some new ideas into the mix. But, what’s important is that whatever it is that we do create – it all remains distinctly Fallout.’
that’s the interesting bit. there’s more at the actual fallout: new vegas developer diary area. frankly, the second i get a chance i am running to an eb games and pre-ordering.
